Blog #4-Walking in Faith

Have you accepted Jesus into your life? Most of us have at some point in our lives even if we didn't fully believe. We can all accept Jesus as our savior and say we are Christians, but what are we doing that makes us believers? As Christians, our only job on this earth is to tell other people about Jesus. Bringing people to Jesus is not shoving scripture down their throat, it is about praying for them and showing them the love of Jesus.

A lot of people are not walking out their faith even though they say they are Christians. Anyone can say they are a Christian, but the way you know if someone is really a Christian is by their fruit and faith. You can tell if they have fruit by the way they talk and act. I have met a lot of people who put on their "Church face". The "Church face" is the fake smile and the acting like you are full of joy and the Holy Spirit when you are really not. The second you leave church or whoever you are around, the smile and the joy are gone.

I know that it is not always the easiest thing to keep joy all the time in difficult situations. But we need to be using our faith during tests and trials. At some point, you have gone to school or maybe you still are in school and of course, you have taken a test. When you know you have an upcoming test you study, or you don't and fail. This is the same thing with the tests that the devil gives you. Your study guide is the Bible and your tutor is the Holy Spirit.  We must trust in the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us because God has given us the Holy Spirit for exactly that purpose. The Bible was given to us to help us during tests and trials because they will come. The real question is, will you be prepared.
